A debate ripe for pay per view |
|
I remember Bill Maher mentioning that Bill Clinton and Arnold Swartzeneggar would be a debate worthy of pay television. It got me thinking about Malachy MCcourt running in New York on a third party ticket. I don't know who the Dem candidate for governor is over there but I thought a debate between Mcourt,Pataki and whomever the Dem candidate is would be worthy of some popcorn.
Then I got to thinking about pitting some of the more colorfull candiates with Clinton, Shrub and Nader. That would be a debate I'd easily pay $100 dollars to see even if it lasted for half an hour. I watched the Dean VS Nader debate and found it very colorful and humerous.
The thought of these debates remind of when Perot, HW Bush and Clinton were running in 92. There was so much great material in that debate. At the time I was more of a casual observor than a real political participant. I was lucky to have friends that were interested in politics that forced me to watch it.
If more debates were set up such as these they would be more popular than professional boxing matches!!!!!
What are you picks for a great pay per view debate?
