Wow, talk about a change in tone. Tweety on Olbermann's show.
Saying most everything we'd agree with.

The specch was a move to change the subject.

Cheney's fingerprints all over the Plame thing.

The plans outlined in the speech were bogus.

Yadda yadda fucking yadda.

Yanno, it is pretty fucking amazing how these shitbirds change their tunes depending on the show they're on. Fineman is a perfect example. Now Tweety. Now that idiot Col whatthefuckshisname -skirting possee comitatus. Col Jack Jacobs?

Keith is doing a good job and maybe that's why these shitbirds are changing their tone ... cuz he won't let 'em spew bile?

1. Matthews is a chameleon
His tone changes with his audience.

3. Matthews has always been all over the Plame story and how serious it is
Half of what I read on DU about Matthews appears to be made up. Sure he pisses me off sometimes, but he has been pretty consistent on Plamegate.

6. I've seen DU'er put words in his mouth before -
I've watched shows and seen DU'ers describe the same show and make fantastic claims that Tweety is shilling for Bush, etc etc etc which just don't compute w what I have seen.

Matthews pisses me off all the time -- his love for Rudy and McCain is absurd, etc etc, But many on DU ( certainly not accusing you BTW, cuz I am not familiar with your posts -- you just stimulated an observation) want to equate him w O'reilly, hannity, etc. Tweety has given a lot of airtime to plamegate, featured schuster's excellent reporting on it, and on at least one occasion figurately ripped the head off a repug talking head who was trying to trivialize it.

JMHO, your mileage may vary.

2. Thanks for the report --
Tweety sounded like this last Friday morning on Imus, too. He was saying 'if Rove is indicted' but making plans about how to position his reporters if the story broke on Saturday...

:hi:

8. Tweety's doubly critical when it comes to Dems(x3 on Clintons). He's
a shill, a sham and a slimeball.

9. maybe they are worried
that the long arm of the law is eyeing them too..

when on their own show, they have to squawk the corporate party line

when on the other shows they are trying to say, 'see I'm being held hostage on my normal broadcast, here's what I really think'

or they could just be two faced hypocrites...

either way, i'm of the ilk that the press is as guilty in the crimes being committed as the bush administration.

they both should be held to account, especially tweety.....

10. I wonder which of Sybil's personalities that was tonight
Must have been the Democrat. Certainly wasn't the one who swooned over Bush's codpiece.
