The GOP have for decades portrayed themselves as the only possible mechanism for successful government in the US ...
They have decribed themslves as 'Conservative', and therefore, likely to follow a moderate path in power, and to not act rashly or wildly ... They claim that Conservatism, alone, provides the greatest range of freedoms, and the latitude to make success a possibility for EVERY citizen, by 'getting government off your back', and allowing one to prosper, greatly, by letting each person climb their own ladder of success, one rung at a time, to achieve their greatest potential ...
They have been in the seats of power, completely and utterly, for 6 years now ....
And yet, the result is quite the opposite ...
For all their crowing in the past, of how Republicans know best how to manage a state, and how to cultivate the ground of liberty so mankind could fully flower; the nation is in a shambles ...
There is no great success for the citizenry ... only more hardship, with LESS freedom, with MORE governmental interference ...
There is no flowering of human endeavor, but restriction of the human spirit, through dogmatic and creedal hysteria, with the Dogs of Extremism howling through the halls of state, their echo's now resounding louder and more omnious ...
There is no increase in civility or personal responsibility, other than those at the bottom suffering in the throes of a full-blown corporatocracy; Oligarchy or Plutocracy, or Fascism: take your pick ... the people pay MORE to everyone, the state included, only to watch the benefits fall to a few .... and that was their plan .. it is 'successful' beyond their wildest dreams ....
That 'success' was from the GOP cutting loose the rampant exploitation of the citizens, allowing them to be goaded into complacency with cheap, dime store slogans, as the REAL wealth of the Nation, that which resides in hearth and home, flow steadily and directly to the top .... NONE left to educate their own modest children, NONE left to prosper and climb higher ... NOT while there is a rich GOP campaign contributor who has not yet had his fill ....
The nation is fast going into a monstrous debt, fighting an unpopular, unncessary, and completely absurd war; all while those who benefit from this travesty feed off the public treasure, and those who can ill-afford to lose that treasure give their lives to unwittingly help them acquire it ...
There is NO DOUBT that our nation is being misled, mishandled, misconstrued, misadministered, and MISUSED by the Party of Conservatism, the Party who once claimed they knew best how to manage a nation, but who have failed MISERABLY in every possible way, by hook or by crook, to provide a benefit to the nation as a whole, OR to the greater number of individuals within ....
It was all lies ....
They are HORRIBLE statesmen, causing our prestige and reputation as a great land, full of a good heart, to be capsised and sunk in a sea of hubris and arrogance ....
They are HORRIBLE stewards of the National Treasure; opening the vast holdings of the COMMONWEALTH to be siphoned and stolen by a very few powerful oligarchs; especially those who bankrolled their political campaigns ....
They have sold OUR freedoms, cheaply, using REAL fears, based on a REAL tragedy, to subvert the public trust, and gain the power necessary to wage war; NOT for justice or safety, but for booty and dogmatic pride ....
They have used that power to waste the lives of THOUSANDS of our own young, feeding them a steady diet of useless jingoistic slogans as they shovel them into a war machine, all for filthy lucre ...
They have HORRIBLY mishandled OUR great land, denying citizens a decent education, while permitting the rape of National Resources that can never be replaced ....
They have deceived a nation of hopeful believers .... THEY are the Party of Deceit ...
They are FAILURES at governance .... THEY are the Party of Failure ...
This isnt about George Bush alone, nor of Ney and Delay ...
NOT about the jingo Tancredo, or the greedy McConnell, or the bitter Hastert ... NOT about lying Roberts, the sneaking Hagel, or the slimy, two faced McCain ....
This is about a FAILED philosophy of Conservatism; the very philosophy which had been hailed time and time again as the ideal of reason and modesty .... The whole philosophy of conservatism is bankrupt, as it is just an excuse to execute thievery ...
This is about a party of liars who debase the SUCCESSFUL party of hope; one which brought the New Deal and Great Society ideas to bear on the lot of the common citizens, and who met with decent success with those ideas ..... They say the Democratic Party 'has no ideas' .... BULLSHIT: OUR ideas have worked for 70 years running .... Yet MORE lies and deceit from the party of failure ....
Claiming that the philosophy of Conservatism is 'good' is a lie ;.... it was a lie then, it is a lie now, and it will ALWAYS be a lie .... Their rule has been a disaster ....
Their rule is a complete and utter failure; and the people know it ....
The Party Of Deceit has created a World of Failure; .. and their time is short ....
Take heart; The people know it ....
