So what’s the skinny on Chris Dodd?
Says he may throw hat in ring for 08.

What’s your opinion of him?

He said he regrets voting for the war and is angry about going along

He is a big believer in diplomacy.

The thing I want most in a future president is a great diplomat

with a vision of world peace, and prosperity for the average schmuck.

1. I'd rather he stay in the Senate
But if he wants to give it a shot, hey, whatever. He may have some good ideas; and the primaries help to sort out the platform. If he has a few good planks, drag 'em along...

3. Are there photos of him and Ted drunk on their asses ?
I've read about that rumor? Not that the Repubs would ever use that against him...

4. Where's he been the past 5 years?
What's he done to lead the opposition? Being buds with Lieberman doesn't exactly inspire me. He wouldn't crack my top ten choices to be President.

5. He's no Gore or Feingold
and his presence in the primaries will make both of them look that much better.

6. "He said he regrets voting for the war and is angry about going along"
Aren't they all who did?

Funny how they now want to be rewarded with the presidency. It's like, the war is still going on, but never mind that! After 20,000 wounded and dead U.S. Soldiers and many billions from our treasury spent, these "leaders" have seen the light.

Yeah! Right! :eyes:

8. Even if he runs, he knows it's not for POTUS...
He knows he's not top-tier candidate material. he's running for VP, as a way of getting his foot in the door.
