Dear Sen Santorum: Advice from one former Pennsylvanian to another |
|
Dear Senator Santorum:
Rick, my former senator, we have something in common - we were both born & raised in Pennsylvanian but have both recently moved to different states (You in Virginia and me in Delaware).
My move was about 5+ years ago but before I moved I knew that there would be bills & letters overlooked with my move from Bucks Co. Pennsylvania to Wilmington DE. So here's my advise to you. Next time you're in Penn Hills, go to the local post office and ask for a form to fill out that will forward your mail to your current address. I did that about a week before I moved to Delaware and I haven't missed any important letters; perhaps if you had done this you would have gotten such important letters as jury duty notices, tax notices and most importantly letters from local papers from your former state asking for your political stances for upcoming election.
Heck Mr. Santorum, I was getting mail from my old address several years after I moved although mind you, most of mine was junk.
And finally, while you're at it Mr. Santorum, I know you love Pennsylvania as much as I do and both of us take the time to go back to our roots and visit the place that has come near and dear to our hearts.
But if all your worldly possessions are some 200 miles away in another state then that pretty much makes you a resident of THAT state and not Pennsylvania. As much as it saddened me to change that information, about six weeks after my big move I officially registered to become a Delawarean. Perhaps you could consider doing the same for your state.
If you need any help filling out those forms at the post office please let me know. They aren't that confusing but I know that for most republican senators, big words can tend to fluster us.
Sincerely
Lynne Sin Former Pennsylvania now officially living in Delaware

7. Here - send one yourself |
|
111 Stephens Ln Verona, PA 15147 http://www.zillow.com/HomeDetails.htm?city=Verona&state=PA&zprop=11450486I mean, it's public record what Santorum's 'home' address is. I think we should get a massive campaign together and everyone send a letter there to see if it gets delivered

thanks to you (and you alone,) I'm sending 10 bucks a month to the DSCC. I live in Mississippi and have no hopes of getting rid of trent but if the good folks in Pennsylvania send your hateful, ignorant ass packing in November, I'll know my paltry little contribution was well spent.

11. I might send it to the philly paper |
|
Since that's my major metro area. It would probably have a better chance being printed there than in Pittsburgh.
But this is the main issue we need to campaign against on Santorum. Then whatever Casey does when he gets elected he needs to maintain some sort of family home in Pennsylvania because last thing we need is another hypocrite on the residency issue from a Pennsylvania senator
