Joe, please run for governor |
|
Now that he is out of the presidential race, I hope that Joe Lieberman works up the courage to run for the governorship of Connecticut. He is well like in the state, and I think that he would deal well with that state's problems: the distribution of school funds by region, the urban problems around Hartford, the debt ... . And he can get rid of Rowland.

2. Hey, despite your name, that's not a bad thought! |

Then maybe CT can elect a progressive Dem to the Senate. On the other hand, if Lieberman were to win, would he appoint his own successor? Or would he run for both governor and the Senate--you know, hedge his bets?

3. I think that the Senate and Governor elections will be the same year |
|
And I can't think of a good CT Dem to run for Senate.

4. Is there a Dem to replace him? |
|
I am absolutely petrified about our fortunes in the Senate for the next few cycles. I'd hate to give a seat away.

6. He would have no problem winning hte governorship .... |
|
Because he appeals to both Dems and Repubs in his state...Unfortunately for him, that appeal does not go over well in a Democratic primary.
