Vote for DEBRA BOWEN for California Secretary of State! This is a critically important vote!

If you haven't voted yet, or you know someone who hasn't voted yet, SPREAD THE WORD! Vote for DEBRA BOWEN!

Tight race, with a whole lot at stake--voting integrity in California! BOWEN knows her stuff, is very savvy on electronic voting, and is a strong, strong advocate for open goverment. Her opponent Deborah Ortiz doesn't have a clue about electronic voting, and has made some alarmingly naive statements about it.

-------------

If you are undecided about Angelides/Westly, vote for MICHAEL STRIMLING for Governor. Check out his web site: www.michaelstrimling.com. It'll make you weep for the California Democratic Party that once was--a real Leftist (i.e., mainstream) political force.

1. I already voted, and did vote for Debra with pleasure. Hope she
wins, but I was there at 2:30pm and ask how the turnout was and they said only had about 7% so far - that's just plain pathetic and hope people will vote after work, but the people there predicted a very low turnout. I don't think anyone's excited about our candidates for governor. sad.

5. Blech! I was number 13 at 1pm today.
The electorate is totally unmoved. Eric Spillman from KTLA was interviewing LA folks and they were saying there is an election - today -are you sure... It was mortifying.

7. Yep, last week
Voted for Bowen. Called my sister who lives about an hour away and she did not realize it was today. She is getting on a bus and going to her polling place with her two granddaughters to vote! How cool is that. And it's hot today.
