1. Yeah. I think Big Eddie is a waste of air time.
Too bad. There are so many deserving radio talents on the left, and he's not one of them.

7. actually, it was terribly dry. not everyone is as fascinated by this
as us. don't give up on ed. he pulls the yellow dog dems over to us and the wavering pugs who need someone who feels like he knows them. he's a dem like the rest of us, he just doesn't fall chapter
and verse along the lines I might like. Its like Jack Cafferty. I don't mind libertarian dems if they
vote the right way.

8. Am I alone here? Because I thought the article was anything but dry.
While a lot of the information has already come out (thanks to Mark Crispen Miller and others), RFK Jr. framed the data and anecdotes in a clear and, I thought, colorful way.

14. no, but I guess its the teacher in me. I read it with two sets of eyes:
my own and the average joe. it was one of the most important stories of the past several years but I can see how the average joe without a real burn for this could feel this way.

17. Yeah It WAS dry - little mention of activists
And little mention of all the work that went down trying to stop what was going on...

Couldn't Kennedy have interviewed some of those who were out in the field?
The Susan Truitts, Will Pitts, friends of Andy's, etc.

It could have been done in a more tantal;izing way - not just a droning
sermon (And yeah, I'll take the boredom of the sermon rather
than no article at all)

10. ~~ I love Big Ed... sorry to hear of your opinion Babs...
And unbelievable that you would claim that he doesn't love America just because he disliked a somewhat dry article.

Un-freaken-believable.

I guess the good news for me is that.. since you won't be tuning into him anymore, we'll never see any of these negative anti-Eddie posts again.

Good!!!

11. Let's not forget that the first Ritalin generation has come of age.
Even if they didn't really have attention deficit problems, an entire childhood of daily doses of amphetimines is bound to have taken its toll. Perhaps Mr. Schultz is speaking for his 'peeps.'

15. When Ed Dissed Murtha...
He lost my respect. And now this. He minimizes something so fundamental to America. There is evidence that Bush and his cohorts overthrew the American government in a coup and are now a ruling regime. Boring? Good God.

23. I didn't like what he said about Murtha either
but I'm not willing to throw him under the bus. Some days I want to throw him under the bus and then beat the shit out of him. He's still strong with veterans and unions so I think we can use some of what he says.

31. no one is stronger with veterans than Murtha.
Murtha lives and breathes his commitment to veterans--and to the soldiers Bush put in harm's way. With people like ED undermining Murtha and now the election results issue, who needs enemies?

34. I agree with everything
you say. We have such a small voice on the radio, compared to the repukes, I can't see why we should trash Schultz. Some of the things he says is pure crap, but he also says some nice things. He's for veterans rights, strong unions and he was with Feingold on censuring Bush. I think we need him.

16. I heard a little of the interview and someone must of coached him. He
brought up the Ellen Connolly issue, which unless you are following the entire story, which he hasn't wouldn't be what you pointed out.

I read something here the other day about some Dem hierarchy pulling aside Ed and Randi and asking them to he their spokes person. Randi said no way but Ed Schultz agreed. I don't know if this story is true, but it could explain his take on the subject. The Dems don't want this story to gain ground.

18. Nuance and explanations are boring. We need 2 quick market-tested phrases
God, I am kidding...

Nuance and details in regards to election fraud (or ANY major issue) demand that people turn off their iPods, put down their GameBoys, stop chatting gibberish on their Starbucks buzz or yeehawing on their Miller Lite buzz and learn how to friggin' read and listen...how unAmerican...

19. Two things are a constant with Ed
1. Ed Schultz does NOT want any focus on election fraud.
And that simply does not pass the smell test.
It is the BIGGEST issue we face in this country if we want a democracy.

2. Hillary Clinton.
If you don't understand Ed's unfailing passion for Hillary, simply follow the money.
Plenty of links on the net to articles about this.
Hillary will always be Ed's, and oh so sadly Randi Rhodes' candidate -- mark my words. That's is what it is.

And, the RFK article was amazing....anything but boring.

did he say it wasn't true or anything like that?

(perhaps the piece was a bit too intellectual for him--too many stats, etc)

(we're not all major leftists like i like to think i am)

In my opinion... EDDIE ROCKS!
