1. But you know...
as much as I want him to run. The next Pres is going to have such as mess to clean up, I don't want my favorite politician of all time to ruin his reputation doing the things that will need to be done to fix the country.

8. He has been careful to separate politics from his moral cause celebre.
He is smart to tout his movie and book to further the moral and ethical challenge of global warming.

There is always time for politics.

9. Gore is being smart
Now he is out there with his book and movie, talking about the climate crisis.

The positive response that people are giving his book and movie increases the likelihood that he could be persuaded to run again. But nothing in politics is certain.

Now is not the time for Al to be talking about 2008.

He doesn't even have to face that decision for another 12 months - at the soonest.
