How is their stratergery going to work? |
|
So we've had the big 06 reframing: gays god and guns, zarqawi dead and rove walking, and once again it is victory in iraq.
But that last part is not going to stick. Unless myself and others are very wrong in our analysis, Iraq will be as bad next week as it was two weeks ago, which is very bad indeed. The dead on both sides will continue to pile up. The 'Iraqification' will continue to go nowhere, as in depending completely on the presence of 140,000 of our troops to keep the national army barely distinguishable from sectarian militia units. There will be nothing other than a token troop withdrawal. At best the liars will be claiming that a real withdrawal will start sometime in the future.
So I insist that yet another victory in iraq moment comes undone well before november. I also insist that the cabal is well aware of this too. So what is their next move?

1. But They'll MAKE the Media SAY We're Winning in Iraq |
|
With Karl Rove back in the saddle, the media will do whatever the regime tells them to.

2. Nah that hasn't worked well. |
|
They cannot hide the mess in Iraq and it is not going to disappear. Karl Rove never got out of the saddle.

3. Rove showed some of his strategy yesterday |
|
IMO, he will use Iraq and paint Democrats as cut and run cowards.

4. Fine - that was the game plan from 04 and 02. |
|
And I am not saying it won't work. However in 04 and 02 60%+ of the population was not consistently polling against the war and there wasn't outright outspoken dissent against the war within the opposition party (for what it is worth) leadership. As the latest Victory In Iraq proclamation wears off, then what? It is June, it seems a bit early to have pulled this stunt.

maybe Rove was feelin' extra mouthy yesterday after he got his non-indictment news by going after Kerry and Murtha. I'm thinking that since he's known for turning an opponent's strength into a weakness, how good is he at turning his own weakness (Iraq)into a strength, other than making sure that MSM keeps his trash talking points way out in front of Dem issues and answers.....and Dems better be solid and united on 3 or 4 of them. I expect also that we will hear that "Democrats will raise taxes" a million times too.

6. Neutering the California threat in '08? |
|
We have a lot of votes (against republicans), and they have probably targeted this as a legitimate threat. I hope that Ahnold hasn't been able to strike any boiler-room deals to pull another Florida and Ohio...
