Just because the Republicans in the House are unanimous in their support.. |
|
...for continuing the war in Iraq, does that translate that the Republican Party as a whole supports the war in Iraq? Is not the vote on the resolution by the Republicans to stay the course just a facade, an illusion? Since about 60% of the public, according to the latest polls, do not agree with the present policy in Iraq, isn't it obvious that many Republicans also disagree with the policy that the Republican legislators are trying to portray for political purposes. Does that not mean they are out of touch with their own Party? Yes, Congress is following George Bush but many, perhaps the majority, of Republicans are against George Bush and the present policy? So, doesn't that mean that the Republicans have to convince their own people of the rightness of their course? Doesn't this indicate they are not representative of their country or even their own Party?

1. Do you honestly think any neocon/repub will speak up against.............. |
|
....this war with Iraq and possibly another one coming up with Iran and chance taking on the WH Idiot's well oiled retalitory machine? It won't happen until the affects hit the neocons/repubs at home and in their pockets. Then and only then will they speak up.

The Democrats are divided on this war in Iraq, but so are the Republicans. Just because the Repubs in Congress are trying to give the impression they are united on the present course, it is really only an illusion.

3. Do rank and file Democrats agree with the DLC? |
|
Face it, both party leaderships are out of touch with their rank and file, which is probably the way bosses want it.
Alienated party members don't vote.

4. Yes, But Repubs want people to believe every Republican supports... |
|
whatever the Congress or the President supports. I think that needs to be pointed out by the Dems...Rank and file Repubs are not as unanimous in their support of the war or the President as the Congress would lead one to believe.

6. your post is an excellent nonpartisan ad in the making... |
|
this would not be an ad promoting one party over the other......
Both party leaderships are out of touch with their rank and file.
That is the way the party bosses want it.
Alienated party members don't vote.
Make them liars.
VOTE to take BACK our Political Parties!
VOTE to take BACK America!
