We MUST DO THIS if we are ever going to have fair elections again |
|
I say each and every polling place with electronic voting machines needs a groups of protesters in front of it on election day and I mean BLOCKING the doors. Don't gather on ONE place, spread out!
So they arrest people? They are going to need enough police to hit every district which is going to be a BIG burden on them AND this will gain national attention AND it may even screw up the elections until they are made FAIR.
Too many people do not know how corrupt these machine are.

1. Especially with no print out |

who knows what that touch button is really picking... there is no print out determining what I picked. I should at least get a print out.

They're the only ones who can mount a respectable protest lately.

5. Would Backfire. They'd Clear the Way in all the Repug Districts |
|
and then blame the protestors on the inability of people in Dem districts to vote.
They wouldn't even have to steal it then.

6. I don't think you can find enough fools to pull this off. |
|
Why don't you try to get more than a handful of people to gather and show a similar interest first. Then you can discuss exactly how you will respond when reasonable voters start to PHYSICALLY move past you at the polls. Will you respond with similar force? What happens when Joe Doe escalates the force against the person denying him his constitutional right?
You may want answers to these real=life questions before your imaginary force of thousands tries this stunt. I am anxiously awaiting the answers.

I've been reluctant so share this idea because it could backfire in a big way. However, it looks like nothing else will work and its time now for a drastic solution.
What if some lefties started rumors at RW web sites and blogs that if the GOP doesn't provide hack proof voting machines, that Dem operators are going to hack into the voting systems and steal the election?
Nothing is being done about the hackable machines because wingers think the election will be stolen from lefties. What if the righties thought an election was going to be stolen from them? I think we'd have new voting machines in a week.

8. Perhaps one of the most ridiculous... |
|
...ideas I've seen offered here on DU in recent memory.
You block polling places, you are depriving people of their constitutional right to vote.
Only an utter fool would try such a stupid stunt. Not only would all who participated in such a thing be arrested or find themselves beaten to a pulp by voters trying to cast their ballots, but the media would run with the story that "leftists" were the folks responsible for trying to stop Americans from voting.
Sorry, but this is a really silly idea. Thankfully it will go nowhere.

Have them do exit polling instead. That way fraud would be proved.

11. Pointless if we're not standing up & yelling about voting machine fraud |
|
right now. Very little coverage about the San Diego county situation where voting machines were taken home with poll workers for up to 2 weeks; I wonder what has happened in other areas of the country that I simply haven't heard about - despite reading the alternative leftist media - which is generally ignoring San Diego county.

Ever see a bird hit a window? The end result of this idea would be the same.
It would gain national attention, alright. Charles Manson-style attention. Might as well steal some candy from babies too, so at least there's something gained.
