No Bounce Bush's Approval @ 35% In New AP-Ipsos Poll
35% overall approval

33% approval for whatever the hell he thinks he is doing in Iraq.

Guess that 5 hour photo-op in Baghdad isn't working for the little shit.

Poll is cited in this otherwise useless article on Tony "It's just a number" Snow.

1. That they even expected a "bounce' is obscene
Everything is marketed, PR-ed , imaged.... :argh:

15. corporate media shilled hard for him last week
All the 'happy news'....someone on his staff didn't get indicted for committing treason. whoopee.

He sneaked into IraqNam....whoopee

Zarkawi got blown up.....whopee...

I watched the news with amazement and consternation that this could be reported in an erstwhile free country as 'positive' on some level.

A criminal high up in the administration slithered away from justice.
Bush went on an expensive useless photo op to prop up a losing war.
Another guy fighting in Iraq got killed and his dead body was plastered all over the news.

WTF kinda country are we even living in anymore?

2. All that has happened is that his decline in the polls has slowed down.
Given all of the Bush coddling we have seen on the networks, I'll settle for that for now.

3. Even Rasmussen showed no bounce. Their figures show him
with a 40% approval rating, but they always rank him 5 points or more above other polls.

5. I guess the week-long MSM hype of "Bush is back"
is just hype. Tired, pathetic hype.

6. What difference does it make?
It doesn't matter if he's at 5%. He's still getting everything he wants.

7. I'm sure the media will report the GRAND NEWS...
...that their "HERO" idiot president is "holding steady at 35%" and achieved the notable feat of stopping the "downward slide."

a big bunch of people have finally gotten to the point of buyers remorse.

And once you decide that you were taken it is awful hard to go back ...

11. That's one of the two polls I was waiting for.
Harris and AP/Ipsos/Reid are the most reliable.

Zogby's OK, just not as reliable.

The rest are junk.

14. Worst president ever!!!! And they are lying about not caring about
poll #'s...

First off, those #'s relate as to how many are so disgusted that they would not vote for anyone w/an R after their name if the looked close to bush. The GOP knows that these #'s are virtually irreversible at this point. Even if Osama was caught, (try the Lincoln bedroom), his #'s would still tank. He lost all control when he said "future presidents" will have to clean up the place. That means at least TWO, or 8 years after this turd is flushed into the cesspool of history. And for WHAT!!!!

Secondly, EVERY president looks for a favorable "legacy", ain't gonna happen here. Everything this pinhead has done has gone against the nation is one way or another. Tax cuts=more debt; war in Iraq=men and women dead and maimed for NOTHING; EPA=cuts to funding neutering it; VA=cuts to funding so the wounded and the those that served this nation have no where to go; Education president+zero funding, and the theft of grants to pay for his war.

This man is a walking disaster, always has been, always will be. If there is a lesson to be learned from this, it is that the next guy that says "compassionate conservative", should be laughed right out of the country, and the next MBA candidate just better sit down and concede, especially if his "C" average is something he thinks he can BRAG about...
