Maybe the Democrats will win by default ?? |
|
Maybe they don't have to do anything or propose anything? Maybe the people are so tired and frightened by this bunch now in power that the Dems will win simply by default? Then, they could say it was the "moderate" position that they took and that is why the people chose them? Why rock the boat? Let the Repubs destroy themselves and then step into the power vacuum? Isn't that the smart thing to do? :sarcasm:

I agree. Their performance has been abysmal on the war, estate tax, minimum wage, among other issues. Even if they are elected there are a good 30-40 of them in the House that side with the GOP a good amount of the time. So we still won't get any meaningful legislation.

2. Unfortunately, I'm starting to wonder |

if that's the strategy of quite of few Dems. How great it would be to have representatives who always voted what was in their heart, regardless of polls or whether or not it's an election year.
