From Bradblog concern the California congressional election

The concerns I've reported — and will continue to report — over the blatant disregard for the rule of law and clear illegalities endorsed and encouraged by the SD County Registrar of Voters, Mikel Haas, and apparently approved at this point by California's Secretary of State Bruce McPherson, have everything to do with the future viability of democracy in this country in general, and a perhaps naive hope that there's a chance in hell that taking action now will help to salvage a shred of legitimacy for this November's election.

1. get ready for steroid boy
for 4 years. Anybody who thinks there is going 2 B a Democratic majority in either house is seriously in denial. saurove demands that California be red! With CA's electoral votes, the neo-cons can ignore all those piddly electoral states. The machines have destroyed our country!

2. Thanks for posting that kansas..
I remember the guy who's filling in for Thom Hartmann this week talking about that meeting and encouraging anyone in the area to go.

The callers to his show were SHOCKED that the machines were taken home with poll workers after that election, and were  MAD  as hell that Francine Busby wasn't fighting this.

I can't remember the guy's name right off who is filling in for Thom, but he said that Francine is only following the orders of the DLCC to stay "low key" on this incident and not to do anything about it right now.

Geez.. ... I sure hope they (the Democrats who are giving Francine the advice) ... know what the hell they're doing!!)

It's completely insane what happened with that election!!!

3. McPherson knows damned well that pollworkers
TAKING VOTING MACHINES HOME OVERNIGHT BEFORE THE ELECTION compromises the validity of the vote.

He also knows these machines as pieces of Cr@P!

Link to their form: http://www.ss.ca.gov/cgi-bin/print_form.cgi

We have a simple message: This election is invalid and we're not going away.
