TRO denied in Rainbow Gathering "courts" issue
A temporary restraining order has been denied (JUNE 29th)filed on behalf of family members by attorney ADAM MAYO in Colorado Federal District court. His primary focus was denial of council to defendants. It appears that the TRO was denied on technical reasons in the filing such as MAYO failed to report in the filing he wished represent defendants "in the future". ME thinks the judge must be stupid or "something". It was pretty clear in the portions of the ruling I read in the extensive description of attempts to advise his clients, were thwarted under the guise of insufficient space in the firehouse. He was told to wait out side and he would be brought in. Numerous attempts to work it out were hammered by prosecutors and court personnel. After four hours and numerous unrepresented clients he decided it was so important that an immediate TRO and injunctive relief was necessary. He left the region to Denver the nearest fed court, and two days later filed the TRO.

FROM ORDER
Marcia S. Krieger
United States District Judge

"The affidavit supporting the Plaintiffs' motion does not demonstrate that any injury to Plaintiff Mayo is imminent. The affidavit establishes that, on a single occasion, Plaintiff Mayo was denied access to the courthouse. It does not allege that Plaintiff Mayo returned to seek access, intends to return, or in such circumstance is likely to again be denied access. At most, Plaintiff Mayo's affidavit evidences a past constitutional violation, for which injunctive relief is not appropriate."

This judge appears to me to have little regard for constitutional protections of due process in addition to the obvious denial of legal council. It was pretty clear to me this attorney is attempting to, now AND in the future, represent his clients.

Rainbows continue to be denied representation under the guise of no room.
Under an expedited procedure a hearing is schedule in the next few hours for injunctive relief. Unfortunately it will be in front of the same judge. This needs to be appealed in an emergency procedure to the appellate court as this judge must be a repuke and observers describe her as "hostile". Funds are scarce to do this however.

I've never heard of such a prosecutorial thoery as, 'sorry no room for attorneys in there'.

Any leagle eagles out there got any ideas we're all ears.
