My first thought after hearing yesterdays' Supreme Court Ruling
bush doesn't give a fuck nor does his enablers. Is only a bunch of panty waste liberal activist judges and all their constitutional bullshit. I'm surprised he even acknowleged their ruling by saying he'd turn to his henchman frist for a fix. Ole frist has just had an awesome record as Senate Leader the past 18 months huh?

2. And besides that, they'll USE IT - Watch for this exciting Rove Twist:
General Rove and the Battle of Gitmo

By Reed Hundt | bio
Look for the brilliant mastermind of November victories to use the Supreme Court's pro-prisoner decision to the R's advantage this fall. Add to "cut and run" as an epithet for Democrats the potent message that D's stand for releasing murderers and terrorists. To thwart this tactic, Democrats need to clamor for legislation calling for no bail, confidential reports to Congress on the danger to the country from these prisoners (conducted by the 911 Commission), trials starting no later than in the fall, and harsh penalties.

3. limbaugh blathered this morning
that pelosi told the terrorists yesterday they are welcome to attack our country at any time. "Conservatives" in America have no knowledge of or respect for the constitution so they don't deserve the liberties it affords us.

4. And I want to see a Democrat stand up and challenge the Repubs....
in the Senate and the House. How dare they go against the laws of the land and the Supreme Court! What the President did was "illegal". Let them stand alone. Please, please do not stand with them...Joe, are you listening??

9. these thugs probably would like to disband the Supreme Court
they have no use for rules of law or the courts, apparently Cheney has no love for the courts. Which was said in that PBS special the Dark Side.

10. The only joy is that the new Chief Justice has been all over so many
of these rulings in lower court that he will have to recuse himself...as he did with this latest one. I concur with your view, though--if we can't take back at least one chamber, it's gonna get dicey.

get religiously insane morons to fight for him. And he can do the work of a doctor from afar as he so professionally displayed in the Teri Schiavo saga.
