Calling all CT-ers for Lamont...

I'd like to invite you to do what just came to me as a mini-protest.

Today, I received the 3rd mailing in a row from Lieberman's gang which served to do nothing but enrage me more than I already am if that's possible.

I immediately called his office at

and asked to be connected to someone on his campaign mailing staff. When she got on the line, I told her that I needed to be removed from his mailing list IMMEDIATELY...that, yes, I AM a Democrat which is why I will NOT be voting for him and that I consider these attack ads extremely offensive and do not wish to be the recipient of such rhetoric.

I did make her repeat my name and address and have her re-confirm that I will be removed from the list and then I added that I expect that to happen because if I get another one, I will consider it harassment and will take appropriate action from there.

Furthermore, I'm planning to send the very expensive, high glossy mailings right back to them with a "pithy" note!

If nothing else, it sure feels good to vent!

1. Good for you! I regularly return mailings I get from the GOP and

Republicans with a nasty note. If there's a postage paid envelope, I stuff it full of torn up catalogs, junk mail, etc., and send it back so they have to pay postage on it.

I'm glad you called Lieb's office, I hope they get hundreds of calls today just like yours!

I've been doing that too for years!!
I try to find a box and fill it with old telephone books and include a note suggesting to the GOP that they 'try contacting the enclosed'!
I tape the Prepaid evenvelope to the box! :+

They sent me a GOP Platinum Membership card in return.

Someone there must have a sense of humor.

Or else there is an RFID chip in the card tracking my every move...
