I wish I had a better idea why on earth diebold |
|
We allowed all the voting to become privatized . Maybe it's me but the word was out in Georgia in 2002 and these machines were suspect then . I have yet to go into alot of research on this subject , most of what I find is what we already know about these vote altering machines but I have not found anything on how in 2 years these things proliferated and spread out so fast and still today here they are .
What have I missed on how this was made possible , is it the public just went along with the program like most everything else , like the medical industrial privatized complex and their abomination called HMO's ? Or is it a simple fact that corporations own and run and are part of the government and we are just simply screwed now ?
So far I have not used or seen a diebold voting machine here . So far it's been punch cards only but I know what my reaction will be if I am faced with one of these machines .
As far as I am concerned they can remove all the bank machines and phone voice machines and all machines that we are so convinced make life so much easier , they don't , they frustrate people more than waiting in line or holding a phone to talk to a real person .

1. I think Diebold is tied into post 9-11 thinking |
|
It was like we lost critical ability to reason, suddenly everything was changed to be more secure. I think that is why Diebold was so accepted, it was seen as a "security" issue, the vote would be less likely to be fixed (even though the opposite was true, and it was a financial windfall for the states, money for nothing.)

2. You can thank Tom Delay |
|
As majority leader he pushed and got passed through congress a $3.8 billion spending bill called HAVA - Help America Vote Act, which laid out the sums needed to buy Diebold's and other's corruptible voting machines.
The companies went around telling all the election offices that it wouldn't cost them a dime, the feds are paying for the new machines. The election offices went on a free-spending spree.
Diebold sold $400 machines for sometimes as much as $4,000 and pocketed the profits.
And here we are.

I swear i'm loosing my mind . I simply could not remember how this happened , I get involved in all the new horrors that just keep coming and coming and I loose track . I asked my wife and she knew but could'nt recall either . There is just so much stuff going on and I think the killing troubles me the most . But it all started with stolen elections even without the machines . Boy they had their plans all set to go didn;t they .

They did have it all planned out very well. They even used to brag about it, something like: "we will crush the democratic party."
Heck, the bastards stole the election from Gore in 2000, that's when it really started, and then they set up the 2004 election and stole it too.
