Rice has Mideast on her mind at Asian summit

The situation in the Middle East has put paid for Rice to one of the highlights of the ARF -- the lighthearted skits at Thursday's gala dinner.

"It is a serious time, it is not a time that is frivolous, and I will play something that is in accordance with my serious mood," Rice, a trained classical pianist said, adding she would probably offer solace from the brooding works of Johannes Brahms.

the perfect show in photo ops, every single time, of how uncaring they are about others in crisis. Eating cake while Americans drowned in Katrina, playing piano while the ME burns, reading 'My Pet Goat' while America is under attack - it just never ends.
