When the # of civilian deaths in Lebanon reach 1000, what will the world |
|
Edited on Tue Aug-01-06 01:54 PM by Nimrod2005
Do?
Will some countries send armies in there without a UN resolution? Will the Lebanese army join the fight against Israel? Will some country attack Israel? Will Israel stand down? Will Sharon die of natural causes? What will Bush do? Will Rice resign? Will all good christian churches in America start praying for peace? Will Hizbollah kill one or both of the Israeli soldiers they have? Will Iran nuke someone?
I am just curious...

do anything.
It never has.
I'd actually like to see the world take some actiion to eliminate the violence. As long as it does it for both sides.

:boring:
If we can ignore a few hundred thousand deaths in Rwanda or Darfur, we can sure avoid losing sleep over such a pittance, right? :sarcasm:

3. If DU is anything to go by |

then the simple answer is nothing. It would appear that all events have taken a backseat to Mel Gibson's antics for the foreseeable future.
I'm appalled.
