Iraq/ Maliki - Some Observations............
After his recent visit to Washington - there seems to be a change in this man. Since his visit - I've been hearing on the news channels that he seems to be outwardly disagreeing with *Co - or at least not as supportive as you would think he'd be as a * puppet.

I'm wondering if there are some Rovian tactics going on behind the scene here.

Could it be that perhaps Maliki is a potential set-up by *Co/Rove to create an excuse for *Co to begin some sort of pull-out of Iraq to save face?

If Maliki says that the Iraqi's would be better off in Iraq if the U.S. Troops began to leave *Co can use that and say that the Iraqi's have asked us.

Then if things do tailspin out of control *Co essentially would be able to kill two birds with one stone: 1) some sort of withdrawal from Iraq to resonate with the U.S. voters; 2) an excuse if things get worse after we would leave.

Just an observation and some thoughts. I'm open for comments.
