The 24/7 Pity Party for Joe on CNN, MSNBC, FOX
Edited on Wed Aug-09-06 03:35 PM by otohara
The NYT's, WP, etc.... is making me sick to my stomach!

No wonder Joe Lieberman is doing this. Who needs advertising when you've got CNN, MSNBC, and especially FOX falling all over themselves to make the democrats in CT look like the "looney left" and gush over the loser.

If Lieberman were sincere I might feel sorry for him, but this is all about losing power and his ego.

He is a pitiful man and he should be embarrassed by this pity party, but he's not. He's learned from his good friend Mr. Bush to ignore the nay-sayers.

1. It's that false reality that they have created
and have insulated themselves from the "little people".
In their opinion, the only opinions that should count are those of the corporations and big money--since they perceive that is where the power is.
That whole pack of rabid garbage ignore the average American--at their own peril.
The smackdown of Lieberman last night was just the first wave.

4. Corporate media has abetted the RW mindset for over a decade.
This is just another day for them. Any way they make this into an ANTI-Dem story they will.

5. Never has the spin been more transparent...
and less convincing. The entire country has had a glimpse at the REAL Joe Loserman and it didn't like what it saw. In the coming weeks as one after another proominent national Dem sees the writing on the wall and endorses Lamont, it will become more and more difficult to portray this whiny little turd as anything other than a whiny little turd. And if he thinks the pukelickans will support him he's even more delusional than he's appeared so far. He was only of use to them as a turncoat Dem.

6. Is it that bad?

I don't have cable so I don't know. I know this morning on ABC,CBS,and NBC they had Liberman on blabbing yet none had Lamont on. They even repeated the Liberman segments when they covered the "News".

7. The Fact That Lamont Was Not On ABC, CBS, NBC
should tell you something.

Same thing last night on the "special" edition of Hardball. One full hour of Lieberman's loss, nada about the winner.
