Joe fires campaign managers and asks for staff to resign! |
|
AP: Democrats Abandon Lieberman, Back LamontThree pages in: Lieberman said he fired his campaign manager and spokesman, and asked for the resignations of his campaign staff.
"We did not answer, adequately answer, the distortions of my record on Iraq and my relationship with George Bush, that the Lamont campaign put out," the senator said, though he insisted he was not blaming campaign workers. Sorry if this is a dupe, but I couldn't find it mentioned anywhere.

We might see one of Rove's underlings managing Lieberman's campaign.

2. Maybe they should ask Lamont for a job |
|
If he gave at least some of them jobs, that'd be a good PR move.

Looks like Joe isn't quite so gracious when he loses to a Democrat as he is when he loses to a Republican. I don't know why that would be, but speculation runs wild in my febrile little mind.

9. I heard him say he would run as an "independent democrat". |
|
Wishful thinking, he should just put that republican label on himself & call it a day. His staff is not to blame, his actions speak loud and clear.

Abandons his party and abandons his staff. And whines while doing it.

"You can choose between a senator who has been there 18 years and seems to have lost touch with our common concerns," the challenger told a Rotary luncheon in Bridgeport. "Or you can vote for a senator who will be there when you and your family need him."

18. Is this true? How low will Joe go? His real self is showing through. |
|
Let's stop paying attention to JOe and analyze what we must do from here on out. We (real Dems) touched a nerve last night. We need to figure out the nervous system of the body politic and touch those nerves all over the nation by November. If you are not tired of sacrificing your children and your security and your nation on the altar of imperialism, eliteism, corporate greed and warmongering, we will wake you when it's over.
