Pgh Post Gazette Trashes Bush White House, failed policies
As you know I grew up outside Pittsburgh, when the Pittsburgh Post Gazette trashes Bush and calls for a change. Stand up everybody, the fat lady has sung.

Editorial: What we know / A deadly airline plot and failed Bush policies
Sunday, August 13, 2006
Pittsburgh Post-Gazette

We know that while the president has cut taxes for the rich, at a time when he says all Americans must do their part, U.S. borders are porous, cargo ships are vulnerable and sophisticated identity scanners remain a fantasy.
Yes, there is much that we don't know. What we do know, based on the foiled plot against U.S.-bound aircraft, is that five years of policies by George W. Bush and the Republicans who control Congress have made the country no more secure and its people no more safe. It is time for a change.

2. Isn't that a Scaife paper?
Geezus, when even that traitorous, America hating piece of shit turns against Chimpy, that's a sign of the Apocalypse....or something like that.

3. No, you're thinking of the Pittsburgh Tribune Review
The Trib would NEVER print an editorial like that.

I had an interesting conversation with a reporter who worked for the Trib during the 2004 campaign season. He said that they received directives straight from the top on how to report stories. Liberals were advised to fall into step and keep their mouths shut or else they would be looking for another job.

4. No, not a Scaife paper.
The Tribune Review is Scaife's rag. The P-G is pretty lib.

What a beautiful name, something I have thought for a long time, you know that Lieberman was
one of its superstars. This is a major shockwave. I hope that it is the beginning of our
much needed win to take this country back. This is the liberal paper in Pittsburgh as opposed
to the Pittsburgh Tribune Review, the Scaife paper. I think of Pittsburgh as a barometer
of the country, what the people think there, they think everywhere. If you want
to find main street America go to Pittsburgh.

6. i wish the same were true of south carolina
what they say in pittsburgh may be true in the northeast, but here in the south, most people are too stupid to realize the enormity of what bush has done.
