I was at a Harold Ford, Jr fundraiser last evening and I have to report that we are extremely encouraged! (and I got my picture made with him)....

Everyone seems very determined to work hard at making him our next U.S. senator from Tennessee. He is a very good speaker with some great ideas and is willing to listen.

The BOB Corker campaign (or Porker as I call him) is desperate and the negative ad's have already started . The Corker campaign must be worried! Corker and republicans can only run negative ad's because they have nothing positive to talk about, ergo their approach is to attack. Let's REMIND PEOPLE that it's the republicans failed policies who have put us in the predicament that we are in. Let's fight back!!! DO NOT let the negative ads slow us down or discourage us. Let's send Harold Ford, Jr to the US Senate.
For those Tennesseans who are not sold on Ford, just remember...There will be one of two men that are going to win and you do NOT want it to be Corker even if you do not totally agree with Ford, Jr.

5. Some of my best friends are gay...

Like I said...there are TWO CHOICES and the gays certainly do NOT want a republican. Sometimes you have to go along with the candidate who is BETTER, even if he doesn't vote to agree with EVERYTHING you want. The democrats are the best chance ANY gay person has at achieving equal rights. (and I am all for that).... Of course democrats have to be careful how they vote as to not lose their seats to someone who would be WORSE.

6. Hald Ford is not my favorite Dem, but I support this run fully.

He's far too conservative for me. But the race is not here. Its in Tennessee. He can win in Tennessee.

7. I would prefer

a candidate who leans more to the left...But let's face it, in Tennessee it isn't going to happen. At least not at this time. A liberal candidate would not win the nomination. Thanks for supporting him in this important race.

8. Suprisingly, here in repub West Wilson Co. I'm seeing many

more Ford signs than Corker signs. Corker is afraid to debate Ford.
