I'm a little suspicious about MSM's coverage of Diebold
Maybe Bush and co. have just pushed me over the suspicion cliff but I can't help but think there is an alternate motive for the coverage, although it's difficult to not feel glad that the issue is getting some mainstream attention.

Wasn't there a post a few months back about some Repuklican insider stating that Rove would claim that the DEMS stole the elections if they regained control? Does anyone remember that and have a link? Sorry, I cant remember where I read that.

I sounds just like something they would do, that there greatest weakness ( bunch of theives who can't win an election honestly) and turn it into an asset (refuse to concede power).

I think we all agree (most of us anyway) that they are NOT going to go quietly into the night.

2. you know what? if they have to use "the dems stole the election"
go get a voter verified paper trail for US elections, then go right ahead and say it. It's just like I/ve told my child.. If you are pressured by your "friends" to do something you don't want to do.... use me as the bad guy, I can take the heat.

3. people rabidly hate the Republicans and Bush now
1000 times more than they did in 04. No way will anyone believe dems stole the election. The closest they'll come is if they steal enough Republican districts to not give up their majority status. I firmly believe that Republicans KNOW they're going DOWN!

4. I remember reading that too...
...and have the same suspicions - but if that's what it takes to make elections fair we better be up for the fight.

6. the MSM has consistently avoided the issue of election fraud
Edited on Tue Sep-19-06 01:06 PM by AtomicKitten
in any depth, as a matter of fact what they have mentioned they do rolling their eyes. Lou Dobbs has been focusing on electronic voting machine fraud over the last few months, and perhaps that's how the rest of the copycats sniffed out the story.

The Rs can scream fraud all they want when Dems win in November. The fact that the EVM companies are partisan Republican owned and operated and that their software (code) is proprietary won't make a convincing argument for any allegations that any fraud occurred that is Dem-related in any way.

7. The MSM are covering Diebold?
Dang, I guess I should tune in a little more often than once every 5 years or so. Is this due to the Princeton paper? Just curious.

9. Do you think the repukes are going to show the Democrats how to
go about contesting fraudulent election results, now that it's too late to use it?
