One set of rules for Bush, another set of rules for Chavez.
I'm sorry, but I don't get what all the uproar is about.

Bush and his cronies say simialar things about world leaders all the time. I'm kinda glad someone threw it back at the buffoon. I don't expect this to go on with Bush and the rest of the world to sit back and take. For all the threats of assasination by all of Bush's cronies I'm happy to at least see Bush get some ridicule.

He deserves it.

1. Very true.
But people like to take sides, and the US is our side even if we hate our President so many people will take the President's side in a dispute with anyone outside the country.

It's this kind of knee-jerk support that the republicans count on. That's why they create enemies. It rallies people around them.

3. Chavez wasn't bashing us
He was ridiculing Bush.

I am not going to curb my thinking or what I feel to appease Republicans. The bulk of that party would love to line up people like me up against a wall. Many in that party (Coulter) have made simialar statements. They aren't joking.

5. But he sure got his point across, didn't he?
He just had to do it in a language of the frat house so that the uber-buffoon in the White House would understand it.

6. Bush said the same things the day before!
Congressman Rangel ("D") said only Americans should be able to criticize Bush. But the day before, if you read Bush's speech, Bush was going down a list of countries (Iraq, Syria, Iran etc.) telling them how to run their countries.

But why should I be surprised, the Democratic leadership has always supported US imperialism.
