8. Perhaps, but the problem is, if the unedited material is already out |

on the internet, it will be harder for him to pull this off. Not that he won't still consider it, or try it, but then again - he's a Pox "news" personality now, so his credibility is not terribly high. And it's a shame, too. He HAD been regarded pretty well before he went over there.
And then again, there's also that other complicating factor - one he shares with bush. Both have fathers who cast very long shadows, and are still at it. Chris Wallace has probably bristled on occasion, thinking about the reputation he deserves as the family standard-bearer, and that he'll never have because his father is Mike Wallace, whose reputation is AWFULLY hard to outshine. That's always dicey to live down, or work around, or succeed in spite of, in ANY family. Chris Wallace would have to go a LONG way to bigfoot what his father's accomplished. And he knows it. He'll probably flatter himself about his own version of the "gotcha" interview that Mike Wallace pioneered on "60 Minutes" when little Chrissy was just learning how to ride a bicycle without training wheels. But this one doesn't measure up. Chris Wallace - and EVERYBODY ELSE ON THE PLANET - underestimates Bill Clinton, and NONE OF THEM knows what he/she is getting into when given the unique opportunity to go one-on-one with him. And they probably also figure that he's just gonna roll over and be nice like all the other Democrats, or that he would take the high road because he's into international philanthropy now. And he didn't follow the (their) script.
Chris Wallace tried a "gotcha" with Bill Clinton and got shellacked. Especially since Wallace was at a distinct disadvantage - NOT having the facts on his side. He should NEVER have gone over to Pox "news." It's seriously damaged him.

Chris found one of Billo's old loofah-falafel thingy and was looking forward to a few minutes alone with it & a picture of Coultergeist after the interview.

10. My first thought was more disgusting |

It involved Depends undergarments and warm poo. I would have posted that one but the wording was really awkward.
See, this is what happens when I have to work on Saturdays - I stoop to low-brow juvenile humor. :bandhead:

12. I'm trying to finish up, I've got a party waiting for me |
|
One of the reasons I'm working today is because I'm not sure what shape I'll be in tomorrow or Monday and we've got a drop-dead Tuesday deadline. A friend of ours is throwing a birthday bash. The party started an hour ago and promises to last until sometime tomorrow (but will definitely end by Monday morning). She mentioned kegs, catering and bands. Better yet, it is an "open" party. In our crowd's vernacular it means to bring as many friends as possible so I sent out word to some of the local DU'ers since most of the crowd will be politically oriented.
I've been looking forward to this blow-out for weeks and was excited about this weekend until the deadline on this project got moved up. Oh well, it'll free up time later down the road.
