Edited on Fri Oct-06-06 04:25 PM by NativeTexan
Joe Scarborough, former Republican Congressman now on MSNBC, just predicted not only an Democratic takeover of the House of Representatives, but he also predicts a Democratic takeover of the Senate.

1. He's not necessarily thrilled, but he does seem to have clearer vision
than a lot of the deny, deny, deny crowd...

3. I've been watching his show the last few days
He is visibly angry at his party. I almost think he wants them to lose so they can learn a lesson.

4. Joe's been fairly anti-Bush since Katrina.
I just hope they're not setting our hopes too high, so that if we don't win one or both chambers we'll be disappointed.

5. He has been on fire the last few days.
I've actually watched more than 1 minute (or the time it takes to find the remote) lately. He's the LAST guy I would have thought would turn against the party.

8. .
Would be nice. In a recent poll, Ford lead Corker 50-45. With Ford and Missouri, Dems would have 51 seats. That includes Lieberman though..

Too many races are still too close. I don't want to see a 2004 again with 2006 meaning that the Repubs win 52 or 53 seats.

9. Don't let this lying freak get you to let down your guard.
We need to campaign harder than ever. With black box voting out there, we don't need to just win, we need to win DECISIVELY.

NGU.

11. Yup! It's just one man's snapshot of the situation......
.....but his observations are really eye opening lately.

10. This is nice but beware...
Scarborough is a talking head....he makes his money with sound bites....and tends to talk out of both sides of his mouth. These type of predictions, while I hope they are true, only tend to mobilize that unthinking Repug base of 30-36% of the voters.
