1. Two midwesterners not good idea
But both are charismatic.

I like Edwards/Feingold as a possibility.

2. Well maybe
It's possible that America isn't ready for a Jew AND a black guy at the same time. But Feingold and Obama are my favorite Democrats right now.

4. Obama is SO overrated.
Edited on Sat Oct-07-06 08:29 PM by AndreaCG
He gave one good speech. Big whoop.

What has he done in the Senate that has been really distinguished? From what I have read, he is basically a DLCer. We've got enough of those, thank you.

Feingold is decent but I don't think he can pull in the South or the West.

20. That's what you say.....others say otherwise.
He did spend 38 years serving this country....

Guess speechifying in the halls of congress is much more useful than setting the voters that need to be set straight, straight!
(any excuse will do....I guess!) :eyes:

relatively obscure politician into national prominence,
and, ultimately the white house.

bill clinton.

12. Feingold will NEVER win the general election
A single Jewish guy will get us pummelled in 2008. No thanks. Give me someone electable.

22. I think the country may be ready for a truthful honest leader
who can bring people together and know what its like to work for a living. Most bigots are not going to vote democratic no matter who runs.

21. I'll take
National Security/Legislative expertise.....no IWR voters for me.

That would be Clark/Fiengold or Clark/Obama or Gore/Clark or Gore/Fiengold or Gore/Obama

I think Fiengold has a better chance of being eventual President if he run for VP initially.
Same with Obama!
