American in al-Qaida videos charged

LOS ANGELES - The charge of treason was used for the first time in the United States' war on terrorism Wednesday, filed against a California man who appeared in propaganda videos for al-Qaida.

Adam Yehiye Gadahn, 28, could be sentenced to death if convicted of the charge, which has been used only a few dozen times in U.S. history and not at all since the World War II era. He also was indicted on a charge of providing material support to terrorists.

Gadahn "knowingly adhered to an enemy of the United States, namely, al-Qaida, and gave al-Qaida aid and comfort ... with intent to betray the United States," according to the indictment, handed up by an Orange County grand jury.

The suspected al-Qaida operative has been sought by the FBI since 2004. Based on the indictment, the FBI added Gadahn to its list of most wanted terrorists and offered a $1 million reward for information leading to his arrest or conviction.

The FBI has known about him since 2004... and only now have they thought to charge him. He was last known to be living in Pakistan... isn't that where Osama Bin Laden is supposed to be? If they go in and get this man, and bring him out for trial, why can't they go in after Bin Laden? Just asking. He could be put to death... with the Republicans handling this, it's probably be on Pay-Per-View, proceeds going to Halliburton.

It'll go something like this:

Think what Mark Foley did was bad? Well, at least we know HE didn't have a dirty bomb already here in this country. And, unlike Chappaquiddick, no one died from what Mark Foley did. (We read those IMs and the kid was asking for it...)

So, DON'T BOTHER TO VOTE! -- American Al Quaida are already here, among us... go out and stock up on duct tape and plastic sheeting NOW! Canned goods wouldn't be a bad idea either. Just DON'T BOTHER TO VOTE! The Republicans have it all under control! -- I mean, can those wimpy Democrats protect America like we can? So, just DON'T BOTHER TO VOTE! There'll be less votes to hack (you know we'll win anyway!), so we can spend all our attention on keeping you and your adorable blonde-haired, blue-eyed children safe in their God-fearing homes. Note: We still need the NRA, so your kids are on their own when they go to school every day, but there's only a small chance they'll get massacred there, so just know at least WE aren't coming after your guns.

And, to prove we are as progressive as the Godless Democrats, we will be waiving the Don't Ask/Don't Tell policy of our Armed forces. Gays and Lesbians will now be able to apply for the special positions we know they are totally fit for: HUMAN SHIELDS! If they have an ounce of love for their country, they'll enlist and stand in front of a REAL soldier. If they don't... well, we gave them their chance, and they are the limp-wristed cowards we told you they were. But, we digress......

We'll get this guy! This Muslim heathen is as good as nabbed -- on or before November 7th. Honest!Doncha worry 'bout nothing. The Republicans have you covered! But, just in case... DON'T BOTHER TO VOTE! And, thanks for you support.

1. These scare tactics are to be expected. They have control of

the scare message right now and they will do whatever it takes to get out the vote. This is to frighten their base. The base are the only ones left supporting this administration and the Republicans. What is that, something like 37%. We have to counter their base coming out, with more enthusiastic Democrats and Independents voting against this administration of terror.
Complain to CNN and other stations that they aren't being balanced. Democrats aren't give equal time. Actually let them know you will not watch them anymore unless they report and present information in a balanced way.

3. The last time I wrote to CNN, and asked them to balance their message...

(During the '04 primaries), I got an e-mail back from them saying there was no longer a fairness doctrine, so that "didn't apply" any longer. Subsequent attempts to contact them by e-mail from my computer have been blocked since my exchange with them at that time.
