How Quickly Will The Bush Administration Turn On David Kuo?

<snip>

It will be interesting to see how quickly the Bush Administration, and its friends in the media, turn on Kuo -- as they did with former members of the administration who became critics, such as Richard Clarke, Paul O'Neill and Colin Powell.

1. I'm guessing they'll try Operation Ignore
Kuo isn't exactly a household name, and I don't recall ever seeing him on any of the talking head shows. The Bushistas seem to have a lot on their plates right now, and taking the time to give more publicity to Kuo and his highly inconvenient comments will only bring more attention to a subject they'd really like to avoid now. Evangelicals and fundamentalists are already feeling like yesterday's teabag with the GOP; doing a PR hit on Kuo will only highlight how little they've accomplished for the "nuts."

we'll see if anyone brings it up with Tony Snow today. I also have to think Rush or Sean will mention it.

3. Supposedly, from what KO said last night, Kuo has big name recognition
cred with Fundamentalists. I've never heard of him either, but then I'm not a fundaholic. They will listen to him and be shocked (shocked I tell you) by what he reveals.
