If the Democrats don't use the "SUCKERS" issue I give up. We need to take this book and run with it. We should be running political ads in the south showing how they have been used. This is our chance to cut the GOP off at the knees. All left leaning talk shows should be given talking points. We need to make this an issue right up to the election and every election thereafter. One of two things will happen.

1. They will try to use it, and the Grand Old Pedophiles will say the writer made it up - it never happened.

2. They will just pretend it doesn't exist and never happened from the get go, they don't want to be "mean" to their opponent. An issue like this is just too touchy and has nothing to do with policy.

6. They don't need to overtly exploit this issue. the pugs have

lost about 42% of the Evangelical voters since the beginning of the year. They are already clued in on the reality. We still do not know the full impact of the Foley scandal. The book could further erode support, maybe even fracture the party.

The Dems haven't needed to do much. Much of the pain the Republicans are experiencing is self inflicted. I think the Dems have played it well. Our poll numbers bear testament to the rightness of their strategy. The combination of the self destruction of the pugs and Dean's insurgent style has helped put the pugs on the run. The Band of Brothers, the fighting style of Reid, the strong voices of people like Wesley Clark, Barak Obama, Hillary Clinton, Bill Clinton, John Edwards, and others has revitalized our party.

Be positive. Show the voters of your community that your candidate is a viable alternative to the incompetent, corrupt Republicans infesting our government.

Now is the time to put your mind on getting out the vote. That is what is important. The pugs will do a 72 hour push, we need to counter them with a vigorous GOTV effort.

Let's close the sale. Call your local party and volunteer. Don't rely on what the national party may be doing. The real action is in your community.
