2. Yellow, I've been saying that about Condi for 5 yrs. Well, Bush too,
come to think of it.

There is one thing he did not screw up. He managed to keep in place the rules governing the thickness and break-ability and fracture size of government approved ashtrays, a standard and rule that was passed 6 yrs after the government banned smoking is US facilities. The standard reads like a coded text and runs 17 single spaced pages.

By the way, Reagan's people passed that standard initially.

6. RE: Condi? No. Nor re: standards for Glass, recepticles, Ash, personal.
They had to undergo a drop test, a shatter test (with parts no smaller than 1 cm, by 1.5 cm by 1.5 cm. They were required to have indentations for prevention of slippage of ignited personal products to prevent rolling. The lists were unbelievable.

9. Wow. Standards for ashtrays
No wonder our country (and the world) is in such trouble. We're kind of an odd species, aren't we? :freak:

4. Surprised? AWOL in Vietnam didn't bring victory in Iraq. Imagine that.
It doesn't take too much sense to realize that bush is the problem not the solution.

8. Yes. He's an albatross around America's neck... And I can't
even say America doesn't deserve it. We pick the leaders we deserve.
