MN-Governor: Hatch(D) pulls in front of Pawlenty(R) by 9...
46-37

I have trouble believing it is this wide, but Hatch's support has been growing steadily...it is definitely a race now...

2. Wonderful! I had guests last week from MN...
...who were saying that Hatch looked like making it a real race, in spite of the fact that he's a bit of a blockhead. A good, conscientious public servant, and honest, but something of a prig and a self-inflated dramatizer. I remember that from my days hanging about the MN Capitol. He'll do good for Minnesotans, but they'll have to keep him in line.

Maybe they should appoint a special assistant to the Goob whose job is to tell him at least once every day "So, who do you think YOU are, then?"

hopefully,
Bright

4. I'll settle for a victory within 1 percentage point.
I don't believe it's 46-37.

5. Very interesting - they're tied outstate at 42%
Timmy's only advantage is in suburbs outside of Hennepin and Ramsey counties. If this holds, Hatch is in!

6. Awseome!
I've been waiting for a come from behind gov victory, like Kaine last year. There are several chances -- Nevada, Florida, Rhode Island, Minnesota. Looks like the latter two are very possible, Florida is probably dead and Nevada is unlikely. I'm also hopeful of Tony Knowles in Alaska but I think he drew a very difficult opponent to defeat in Sarah Palin.
