What a wonderful woman. Smart and witty and personable and savvy and a great speaker.

2. She looked and sounded better than I've ever seen her....
but she's too modest. She'd make an EXCEPTIONAL senator!

3. She is stunning, She campaigned here in 04 at the YWCA
Sen. Edwards was my Senator here in NC, and she came to my town to speak and have a round table discussion.
Not only is she gracious and classy with impeccable manners (we're in the South, after all) - but her knowledge and grasp of the issues is deep and varied. She could be an easy equal to Hillary Clinton and hold her own with just a little more exposure and experience; let me rethink that - even without.

She is the best asset to Sen. Edwards imaginable, and as first lady or second lady would give us someone with heart and soul and brain. It would be such a welcome change. My heart cramps when I think of what we have now.

I love that woman.

ALSO:
she comes here, and reads, and has even posted after her cancer treatments.

7. I think she pretty much gave up a personal political career...
after her horrible year as her high school junior class president...:D I thought that was sweet way to say NO WAY.

5. She'd be a glorious First Lady....
She and the Senator are both favorites of mine. I'm a little hesitant to wish them the awful job of fixing the mess we're in - but I have total faith they'd do it with intelligence and grace.

Oh - and with 'integrity', too! :)

6. Chris was no Oprah !
Never even discussed the book (now #4 on NYT). He really wants to get that "...is Johnny running scoop" :banghead:

Also, he was really trying to nail her for a Kerry soundbite over not using her husband enough in 2004?

At the end they were joking about JRE announcing on Chris's show on Thanksgiving?
Matthews was hemming and hawing at warp speed for that part, I really didn't understand. Can't he WAIT til after midterms? Acccck.

9. Thanks for the Link
"Elizabeth Edwards who should be President herself, in a better country," says Chris. If only. We'll have to settle for her to be First Lady.
