only because we have no one running against Senator Lugar. I will be voting for the Libertarian candidate for US Senate, whatever his/her name is, to express my opposition to the war and to Lugar's endless rubber stamping of the Bush dictatorship.

In *any* race that means anything, I'm voting for the Democrat: Governor, US Senator, US Representative, state representative and senator. But in some of the down-ballot statewide offices, there's a Green running against a Dem with no Republican opposition. I may vote for some of the Greens. The Democratic party is strong enough here that I figure one or two third-party officials would be a good thing.

I definitely won't be voting for any Republican.
I'll vote for Dem Barbara Radnofsky for Senate. I still despise Chris Bell for his stance on the war and I kind of like Carole Strayhorn for governor, now running as an Independent.

29. What is Bell's stance on the war that you find so distasteful? |
|
Bell has a 100% pro-peace voting record from SANE Rated 100% by SANE, indicating a pro-peace voting record. Bell scores 100% by SANE on peace issues
Peace Action, the merger of The Committee for a Sane Nuclear Policy (SANE) and The Freeze, has effectively mobilized for peace and disarmament for over forty years. As the nation's largest grassroots peace group we get results: from the 1963 treaty to ban above ground nuclear testing, to the 1996 signing of the Comprehensive Test Ban Treaty, from ending the war in Vietnam, to blocking weapons sales to human rights abusing countries. We are proof that ordinary people can change the world. At Peace Action we believe...
* That every person has the right to live without the threat of nuclear weapons. * That war is not a suitable response to conflict. * That America has the resources to both protect and provide for its citizens.
As the Pentagon’s budget soars to $400 billion, 17% of American children live in poverty. For what the US will spend on Missile Defense in one year we could: put over a million children through Head Start OR provide healthcare for over 3.5 million children OR create over 100,000 units of affordable housing OR hire over 160,000 elementary school teachers. At Peace Action our priorities are clear.
The ratings are based on the votes the organization considered most important; the numbers reflect the percentage of time the representative voted the organization's preferred position.

|
Not all republicans are perverts or corrupt, but those that aren't are enabling and supporting and hiding those that are. Until the republicans clean house they all need to be unelected.

He adopted a developmentally disabled child and has raised her beautifully. My respect for him goes beyond party labels.
Other than that race, a strict Democratic ticket.

25. Voting straight Democratic ticket |
|
I was thinking of the longest time to vote for the Repuke who is running for Governor in PA, former pro football player Lynn Swann, cause our Gov(Ed Rendell) is a corrupt pig, but all Swann brings to the table is BS and alot of anti-Rendell retheric and since Swann is nothing but a empty suit with no political experience i'll take Rendell.
Can't wait, counting the days till Bob Casey beats Rick Santorum, and it will happen. Mark it on your calendars.

I hate that bastard with such a passion that his humiliation will be particularly satisfying. Especially since there was speculation only a year ago that he might be a Republican candidate for president.
Lo, how the might have fallen.
Those three Philadelphia area congressional seats are just the icing on the cake.

I voted straight Dem except for the Judges, they didn't say if they were Dems or not but with the Gropenater in charge they are most like Republicons and city council didn't say either. I mailed my ballot in a couple of days ago.

I don't know how much of a difference it'll make in Georgia, but I'll do it anyway.
Plus, I'm hoping to convince as many of my PA relatives & friends as possible to vote against Prick Santorum.
