Guess who said that?
If Lamont (and I honestly don't believe he's responsible for that ad, probably some bloggers fabricated it) wants to differentiate himself from Joe Lieberman on Iraq (and I believe he can), he'll have to do it with the kind of statements from Lieberman which are ones that aren't from the set of stock quotes that any leader would say about an ongoing war (and they do exist). Right now, one of those quotes indicates that Lieberman is in line with Howard Dean's position.

I mean, really.
I notice we are having trouble getting out of Iraq, have you noticed?
Not long ago, Joe came back from there and said things were going just fine.
I don't especially like the ad, but I also don't like Democrats losing, running as independents, and attacking the Democrat who won. It is crass and tasteless.
It is hurting all of us.
