"Does Rush Limbaugh speak for you?" |
|
Edited on Thu Oct-26-06 12:41 AM by Adenoid_Hynkel
Every time a Democratic figure makes a far less offensive 'gaffe,' cable news 9often Norah O'Donnell) and the rest hound every Democrat asking them "Does________ speak for you?" - and then subsequently attacking anyone who doesn't denounce whatever was taken out-of-context.
Why aren't the republicans grilled the same way? Bush calls Rush 'a good friend,' Cheney appears on his show frequently, etc
Bush should have been asked at his little news conference today-"Does Rush speak for you?"
Why is the left supposedly responsible for anything said by anyone to the left of the GOP, but Republicans get a pass and are never asked to condemn their hateful members?

I think Shrub would probably say "No" if asked that question. El Drugbo is used by Buscho to stroke the base while Shrub gets to act the good guy......

The other day, I had a wish sandwich. A wish sandwich is the kind of a sandwich where you have two pieces of bread, and you wish you had some meat.
Bow, bow bow ...
And it causes gas, and then my asshole speaks, and I swear I hear a Rush when that happens.

4. It's always struck me as odd ... |
|
... how Republicans are loathe to criticize other Republicans, preferring instead to spin, deflect, ignore... or blame Clinton. They seem to think that one rotten apple DOES spoil the whole barrel, or cast doubt on the whole party (true enough, 'cause that's how they run their own campaings against Democrats)... and therefore under no circumstances must they acknowledge the rotten among them. Oddly, THAT dissembling behavior is what's pushing them out of favor now.
