But compared with earlier polls, support has declined for Amendment 2, with just over half — 51 percent — of poll participants backing the measure and 35 percent opposed.
The percentage of opposition has changed little from Research 2000's earlier polls. But the number of undecided has jumped dramatically to 14 percent — almost five times the percentage in the June poll.
Sadly, more conservatives might vote this election than previously thought just for this Amendment.

When asked how they felt about the choice of candidates, 45 percent said they were very or somewhat satisfied, while 44 percent said they were not very satisfied or not at all satisfied.
"I don't think voters are crazy about either man," Ali said. "It's like voting for the lesser of two evils. They really want Democrats to take over, but really don't like Menendez."
Menendez spokesman Matthew Miller said voters "understand the stakes are high in this campaign.
