various Democratic candidates on behalf of his support for embryonic stem
cell research. Even though the likes of Rush Limbaugh attacked him for
"exaggerating" his condition, he has fought back in the media and public
opinion is firmly on his side. Please show your support for Michael and Jim
Webb by attending this fundraising rally at Clarendon Ballroom. Just this
evening Gen. Wes Clark has also confirmed for this great event! There is a
special $500 Host reception at 5:30 if you can contribute that much. For
the general reception starting at 6:00 the donation amounts start at $25.

I'm so glad you'll be there....How lucky for you. You'll be in the presence of three true American heroes (even though Michael is Canadian, right?). Michael J. Fox has really been courageous through this whole thing. He's a tough one, that's for sure...as are Wes and Jim both.

As for tickets, I would guess not. They should have your name but I always like to bring the receipt from my contribution to things like this just in case...

Wish I could be there....I'll be anxiously waiting for a full report though. :)

I didn't print out a receipt this time, but I'll keep that in mind for next time.

Absolutely agree on Fox; I've admired him and Clark for awhile now for the work they do. It will be an honor to see them (and get to know Webb even more)! (I think Fox has dual citizenship, by the way, with the U.S. and Canada.)

14. Glad to see Clark getting to VA again

Especially to the DC/NoVA area. Last, iirc, he was mostly down in the redder, more rural areas. Which is probably where he's more effective in changing people's minds, but now it's all about GOTV.

I swear, tho. I sure don't know how he's finding the time. He'll be in TN for Ford, up in NY for a number of House candidates, and someothers that haven't been nailed down yet... the guy will living on an airplane for the next 7 days, I guess. Makes me tired just to think about it.
