Kerry Statements vs REAL Iraq News of the Day
I watched NBC news today and it did a piece on how the Prime Minister ordered the road blocks around Sadr City removed. Then they showed video of the PM kissing al Sadr (it could have been old footage). Remember, this is the guy the US once had a kill bounty on a year or so ago.

My point in this is that Bush has abdicated the control of OUR military to the Prime Minister of Iraq and had them do something because it was offending al Sadr and his militants.

To me, this story was horrifying and more important than Kerry's comments.

3. definitely true - which is why Democrats need to turn
any question on this to Iraq -

Carville, who I usually dislike, made one comment on CNN that Kerry mangled a joke, Bush mangled a war.

4. True, it is time for our President to stop campaigning and
get back to work, there are two wars that need attending to.

5. that was the downside of the kerry comments, as I saw it.
before he (depending on your point of view) either put his foot in his mouth or
pounded satisfying body blows upon the whithering * administration, the top stories
of the news cycle WERE, (1) Iraqi PM defies Bush, (2) VA poll has Webb up 4%+, or
(3) rethugs pull out of house races in co, pa, and oh.

after john kerry made his statements, and certainly after his press conference in
seattle, he was the story.
