13. I hate to say it, but I'm actually starting to feel sorry for Harris

At first, I figured her overboard freakshow was a desperate attempt to appeal to the way-out wingnuts, but I think it's gone beyond that now. I think we may actually be watching a mentally ill candidate self-destruct in front of the entire nation. Any sane, rational person in Harris' position would right now be trying to figure out how to lose honorably and preserve some shred of his/her dignity. Harris just seems to get more unhinged and paranoid as the days go by. I don't know whether it's bipolar disorder, some type of schizophrenia, or what, but I'm getting the distinct vibe that Harris' antics aren't an act. Rational people -- even desperate people trying a Hail Mary play -- just don't behave this way.
