WH targets Dem vets. Murtha's 6-12mo redploy plan was labeled "cut and run"

by the WH. They have been trotting out the phrase "cut and run" against ALL Democrats for almost a year now because of it. It was meant to hurt the party. Some even let it hurt.

They then attacked Murtha for talking about the war crimes committed by some military in Iraq, and he was labeled as treasonous by the RW reactionaries.

And just a few weeks ago they held rallies against Murtha because he was a traitor to the troops. They have been demanding Murtha apologize to the troops. He never said anything to apologize for, and would not give in to their spin. Murtha counterattacked with the help of his fellow Dem vets.


Don't ever give in to their lies. They will just build another one and direct it at another Democrat who sticks their neck out for us and for the troops.

Expect it. Fight it. Expose it.

2. They do realize that Murtha is like leading by 10+ points in that district

It's pretty much a non-competatitve district so this all seems like wasted money
