239 Democrats 195 Republicans 1 Tie
A huge swath of polling came in overnight and it's looking good. 239 Democrats 195 Republicans 1 Tie according to http://www.electoral-vote.com/ Keep in mind this sight is generally cautioned in its projections, and still has the senate at 50/50 when McCaskill has been polling ahead in the last day or two.

2. Lieberman doesn't frighten me, but I do hope Lamont pulls it out
somehow.

3. Frighten? No.
But I have truly ugly, vengeful thoughts with regard to Lieberman. Like wishing that he never have a happy successful day again as long as he breathes. It's wrong how distressed I am that I have no power to make him suffer.

5. Nationwide... what are the 5 tightest races
for both house and senate. Time for the last minute push.

I just got paid and I've got $500, $100 for each race. Anyone with me?

(After we get the answer from the poll watching wonks, I'll send in $100 each, you contribute what you can)

6. Give it all to the Senate, to DSCC
The house should be in the bag. I'm not saying there aren't a lot of tight races, but the way the polls are looking it would be really hard for us not to capture the house. The senate on the other hand is still very much in the air. If you are looking for a congressional race to give to check out MN-6 where Patty Wetterling is in a dead heat with conservative nutjob Michelle Bachmann. Bachmann has been campaigning as if she were a classical republican, completely sidestepping the fact that she is the anti-gay icon of Minnesota.

7. OK, but who controls the money in the DSCC
and WILL they give the money to Ford or Webb in time?

Doing $100 to Patty Wetterling. Done! Who is with me?
$400 more to go... maybe to the DSCC.

8. If you're uncomfortable with the DSCC give directly
http://www.dscc.org/about/leadership/ that is who controls the DSCC and they will be sure and pump the money into the most competitive races. If you're looking for a specific candidate to give to in the Senate I would suggest Claire McCaskill who is getting the littlest national attention out of the 4 closest senate races. She is also most in need of the money because she is in a dead heat and has already spent her war chest to a large degree. She has a cash on hand deficit to the tune of about 4 million right now and could use some help. She is in what is statistically the closest race in the nation and will probably be the deciding factor in whether or not we control the senate.
