Sherrod Brown's way to handle the Kerry situation:
Rep. Sherrod Brown, a Democrat leading in late polls in his bid to unseat Republican Sen. Mike DeWine, said Republicans are merely trying to change the subject. "The people who should apologize are George Bush and Mike DeWine for sending our troops into battle without body armor and without examining the cooked intelligence," he said.

I copied this from Daily Kos.

1. Simple, to the point....
Now if Kerry had gone to Harvard like Brown, then maybe he wouldn't have pulled a Yalie...

6. Perfect!
Now, why couldn't the other Democrats do that earlier today instead of calling for Kerry's apology and saying his comment was "inappropriate"?

7. Thanks - he gets it.
We still haven't learned how to set the agenda - everyone, even Kerry eventually, fell right into the Republican plot. Damn. Brown got it.

14. I'll echo that sentiment!
I love Sherrod Brown too, and I'm watching from Vermont. I suspect that Senators Brown and Sanders will work closely together for progressive causes.

11. Brown has run the best and most underrated campaign of '06
borrowing a page right out of 'what's the matter with kansas?' as In These times put it.

The Hackett flap initially made me dislike him, but he's won me over
