Bill Clinton needs to speak out! |
|
Where's Big Dog when we need him? Only he can come out and articulate what needs to be said about the whole Kerry mess. He needs to come out and say that Bush and Cheney need to apologize to the troops and America for having put us in this quagmire in Iraq. Clinton is the one voice that the media will cover like white on rice and he needs to come out with both barrels and set everyone straight.

2. Forget that, Hill has already come out against Kerry for no good |
|
reason other than trying to eliminate him in the 08 race. Bill isn't going to denfend Kerry and support him, that may interfer with Hill's plans.

5. I think Kerry is no threat to Hillary anymore |
|
I personally think Kerry is toast as far as presidential politics go. But Bill Clinton needs to call out Bush for not taking responsibility and putting the Iraq mess back on them. Bill seems to be the only Democrat the media actually cares about. When he speaks, everyone listens. We need another Chris Wallace interview.

14. I disagree. I still support him and see this as having no lasting effect |
|
other than perhaps to draw attention to the fact that he was wronged. Kerry may even gain a lot of simpathy for this action.

16. Bill Clinton has not been a leader on this |
|
The NYT has a front page poll - Bush is WAY down on the Iraq war. Part is the facts on the ground, but part is the effort by people like Kerry, Feingold, Boxer and Harkin - who pushed the issue when Clinton didn't wnat it pushed. They are the ones that insured there was even an Iraq amendment this year - the Levin one was in response to theirs.
Kerry, Clark and Feingold are the ones who have been talking of the mess in Afghanistan.
Clinton's last comment on Iraq was a muddled comment that the Democrats can have any plan because Bush's isn't working.
As to Kerry's apology being too late - the story blew up on Tuesday morning and Kerry apologized on Wednesday after attacking the RW for distorting his comments on Tuesday.
As to Clinton addessing the "Kerry mess", isn't he too late - or is that a phrase reserved for Kerry.
By the way, Kerry was excellent in defending Clinton on NK on Chris Wallace's show.

8. The tide is turning, and ol' Bill will follow along. |
|
Enough of this hero worship! Bill, Hillary, Ted, etc. Democracy is not "lead", it is continually created by "We the people."
Let's get to work.
I will be at the Campaign Office tomorrow, like I have been every free day I have. Let's take our country back. The alternative is rebellion. I prefer the political solution.
Failure is NOT an option.

9. The Kerry story isn't worth... |
|
the breath it's been given. It's an unimportant issue and the best thing that can be done for Democratic candidates and supporters is to focus on real issues and not fall into the Republican games of forced distraction, depression, suppression, and reaction.
