Yarmuth ahead of Northup 52-44%(KY-3)
<snip>
New numbers in Kentucky’s Third District Congressional race, and our numbers are showing an upset in the making.

It's a surprise to both campaigns. The new WHAS11/SurveyUSA poll shows John Yarmuth leading Anne Northup by eight points, increasing his lead over the past two weeks.

Here are the numbers:

The poll shows the Democrat Yarmuth leading Congresswoman Northup 52 percent to 44 percent. The polling included about 600 likely voters who were called Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

1. Great news. That's almost enough to overcome the Diebold margin.

4. Extreme emotion is indeed warranted.
I'm about ready to lose it myself.

3. This race will give us an early indication of
the trends on election night. Polls close there at 6 eastern. We take this seat, and it indicates we will sweep the House. This is great polling news.

6. I won't believe
Northup is going to lose until I actually see it. She's been in the crosshairs for years.

5. Majority means the race is over.
Undecideds cannot effect outcome.

If this poll is accurate, Northrup is toast.

8. I think this poll reflects a huge national break towards the Dems.
A shift like that this late is huge news.
