Whether we win or lose, Bush will have a couple rough years.
Whether Democrats win or lose on Tuesday George W. Bush`s policies are eventually going to backfire and erupt on center stage like a political Mount Etna. That old adage that ends with not being able to fool all the people all of the time is going to make Bush`s last remaining months a regular nightmare. His clownish performances, his refusal to face reality, his adolescent bullying and his flat-out lies are all wearing thin. Another few months and the man will be need more than a pale blue backdrop with catchy words scrawled across them. He`ll need a regular miracle in order to escape unscathed.

Bush used to be like the crazy Aunt in the attic nobody mentioned, but now people are starting to speak out, from retired generals to former war cheerleaders, Iraq War veterans, even Andrew Sullivan. They`re done calling a pile of dog crap a strawberry sundae.

I`m willing to bet that a few years from now, many Iraq War vets will come to terms about what they were ordered to do. Time has a way of separating fact from fiction. As for Bush, he`ll have plenty if idle time back at the ranch retirement to read passages in brand new history books. He`ll see in black and white how historians assessed his "leadership."

Somewhere on the horizon a Democrat is getting ready to step forward and right this sinking ship.
No matter what happens Tuesday, I have full faith that a voice of reason will break through the fog with clarity and vision. When that happens, George W. Bush will be seen for what he really is....a miserable, miserable failure. He`ll go back to the pig farm, play with his chainsaw and be forever remembered as the worst president in this country`s history.
